National Carers Week is about recognising and celebrating the care and support that carers provide to friends and family members in need. The contribution to the country by 2.86 million informal carers was recently valued by a Deloitte economics report at 60.3 billion, equivalent to 3.8% of GDP or more than half of the health and social work industry.
